Grand opening of Daigyo Cafe is taking place on Feb 18-19, during which there will be a buy one, get one free promotion (for the Organic O-Matcha Smoothie (cold) with an option to add $2 to get a float on top, and White Peach Oolong Tea (cold)).
Torontoβs popular Japanese cafe is coming to Vancouver. Located at 1725 Robson Street, Daigyo Cafe is expected to officially grand open on February 18, 2023. Guests will be treated to a variety of sweet and savoury goods, such as Japanese coffee, Japanese pressed sandos, tea-infused desserts, beverages, and soft serve ice cream. Most notably, Daigyo specifically sources ceremonial-grade, premium organic matcha from Japanβs Shizuoka region.
The counterservice spot is 1,100 square-foot with 10 seats. The space features warm wood shelving, soft lighting, and zen music to create a tranquil ambience.
Daigyo Cafeβs drink menu will feature a selection of lattes, teas, and premium matcha, highlighting two special kinds - a Spring Matcha Powder that is vibrant green and tastes sweeter and a Winter Matcha Powder that is stronger and bitter in taste and great for lattes. Daigyo also has a variety of signature iced confections - think White Peach Jasmine Smoothie and Organic Matcha Floats. House specials include beverages such as affogatos with matcha soft serve, Daigyo espresso to the Yuzu O-Matcha.
