The land we own is a gift that must be nurtured, respected and preserved. As trusted by the generations before us, we aspire to be a leading model in sustainable agriculture.
Storyboard
Ever since Great Grandfather John purchased his first plot of land back in the 1930s, farming has remained a family tradition. Three generations later, and still located in the southern lands of the Fraser Valley, Taves Family Farms continues to thrive. Only, now itβs Johnβs grandson, Loren Taves, who operates the farm along with his wife, Corinne, and their children.
We will be the first ones to tell you that living on a farm in the Fraser Valley is living the dream. One farm quickly grew to a few, and now we harvest everything from apples to heirloom tomatoes to pumpkins. We decided to share our gifts by creating an agritourism attraction called the Applebarn. Every August, our communities tell us that they eagerly wait for the doors to open so they can pick their own apples or bring their families out for some fall family entertainment!
