COVid Compliant, Common Sense, and Kindness
COVid Compliant, Common Sense, and Kindness
A gentle reminder to keep everyone safe out there.
Here is my story:
I was exposed over the Thanksgiving weekend by a family member who doesn’t believe in COVid vaxxing. She showed up with a cold (said it was a cold and we believed her) but turned out to be COVid. She found out Wednesday and didn’t inform us till Saturday, the whole family scrambled to get tested but because most of us are vaxxed and doubled vaxxed, it protected us from contracting COVid. My mom wasn’t so lucky, she fell ill with a fever, body aches, fatigue on Wednesday, and her symptoms carried on till Thursday, and recovered by Sunday. Since I’m already double vaxxed the recommended protocol is to isolate and only do essential travel for 10 days (Thanks GW HR). If any of you are going through the same situation with a family member and their lack of judgment, remorse, and terrible attitude, you have my sympathies. All I can do is share my story and share that this situation could have been prevented. I thank God daily for watching out for my family and especially my mom who has underlining health issues. God is good and he has kept us safe. Be calm, kind, and considerate. Thank you for listening.
Here are some good rules to follow If you don’t plan on getting COVid vaxxed:
Please don’t show up to any function or event with a cold.
Please get tested right away even if it’s a cold. (We live in COVid times, assume it’s COVid if you aren’t vaxxed)
Please be mindful of the rest of the human population who need to go to work to make a living.
If you have exposed anyone, please inform them right away regardless of their reaction. It’s best to let them know immediatly.
Even with the doubled Vaxxed status, it’s still 10-day isolation if exposed, 14 days was recommended by 811 and only essential travel and work only and keep visits minimal.
Please keep your distance and avoid people, especially the at-risk and low immunity folks.
Just be a good human. Period.

Proverbs 14:16-18 One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless. A man of quick temper acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hated. The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
Romans 16:17 I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.
