Let’s get ready to sizzle! Brewery & the Beast, the spectacular celebration of food, drink, and music, is back this summer, firing up the action with two events in B.C. — and tickets go on sale this spring. Considered the essential fest for food and drink fans, the perennially popular all-you-can-enjoy outdoor event lands in Vancouver on July 9and Victoria on September 24.
 
Brewery & the Beast is known to sell out quickly, so mark your calendars for April 1 when tickets for the Vancouver gathering go on sale at 10 a.m. local time. Heading to the Island? Snag tickets to Brewery & the Beast Vancouver Island starting May 27 at 10 a.m. local time
 
“Brewery & the Beast in 2023 will be better than ever! With more fire, more beverages, and an outstanding line-up of chefs and restaurants showing off what they do best! We are so fortunate to be able to showcase local farmers, exceptional food, refreshing beverages and celebrate the culinary talent in each market.” said Scott Gurney, Director of 17 Black Events, which produces the wildly successful event.
 
A stellar line-up of participating Vancouver chefs and restaurants is in the works, with confirmed presenters for 2023 including Anh and Chi, Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar, Bruno Restaurant, Caffe Artigiano, ¿CóMO?Taperia, Crack On, Cream Pony, H2 Kitchen + Bar, Haven Kitchen + Bar, Hydra Estiatorio, Mount Pleasant Vintage & Provision, Notch8 at The Hotel Vancouver, Paella Guys, Peter Ho, Published on Main, Salt N Sear Catering, Tacofino Restaurants, Two Rivers Meats, Vianello Hospitality, and Wildlight Kitchen + Bar. Participants confirmed so far for 2023can be viewed at breweryandthebeast.com, with new additions being made as the event dates approach.
 
Known for showcasing top-quality meat in various styles, from expertly grilled to slow-roasted, braised or smoked, Brewery & the Beast pairs the incredible number of dishes available with chilled beer, ciders, wine, cocktails and refreshing zero-proof options. And no celebration is complete without music; there will be live entertainment throughout the event, with performances by local artists to keep ticket-holders’ toes tapping all afternoon.
 
An undeniable tribute to B.C.’s unparalleled bounty of food and drink from farm to table, Brewery & the Beast is focused on honouring the best of what the province has to offer. Each year partial proceeds from the event go to organizations that work to grow the culinary industry and support local culinary-focused initiatives, such as the Chefs' Table Society of BC; the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology; Camosun College and Vancouver Island University
