Brewery & the Beast Vancouver Unveils Show-stopping Restaurant Line-up
Over 60 presenting chefs in an "All You Can Enjoy" format to spark sizzling summer fun
Ready for the ultimate feast? Brewery & the Beast is back in Vancouver on Sunday, June 2, and this year’s event will be bigger — and better — than before. Thanks to an unprecedented roster of chefs from some of Vancouver’s most acclaimed restaurants, and a few noteworthy enhancements, Brewery & the Beast Vancouver is poised to be the city’s most undeniably epic food and drink event of 2024.
Returning for a show-stopping 11th year, Brewery & the Beast Vancouver will once again offer its "All You Can Enjoy" format, inviting guests to indulge in a (mostly) carnivorous feast featuring over 60 of Vancouver's top chefs showcasing their culinary prowess over live fire. From succulent cuts to innovative creations, attendees can expect more tantalizing dishes, alongside a selection of craft beer, cocktails, cider, seltzers, hard teas, wine and zero-proof libations.
This year, Brewery & the Beast welcomes nearly a dozen new participating restaurants, including the recently-opened Osteria Elio Volpe, and popular newcomers like Chambar Restaurant, per se Social Corner, The Watson, Jungle Room, and Langley’s Steven’s Cocktail Corner Bar + Kitchen. Among the notable returning presenters are Brewery & the Beast veterans Published on Main, Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar, Belgard Kitchen, Café Medina, Homer Street Cafe and Bar, Pourhouse, Torafuku, and longtime BATB sponsor Two Rivers Meats.
Highlighting the event's VIP Experience will be exclusive culinary presentations from Canadian Culinary Champions, Jasper Cruickshank and Alex Chen, from Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar in Whistler, Jinhee Lee from JinBar in Calgary, Alessandro Vianello from Vianello Hospitality in Vancouver, and Derrick Sibayan from Holts Café in Vancouver. The full list of confirmed participants can be viewed at breweryandthebeast.com.
Brewery & the Beast is also thrilled to once again feature an all-inclusive beverage program, eliminating the hassle of drink tickets. This improvement means guests can enjoy a seamless experience, indulging in their favourite beverages throughout the event without interruption. Moreover, to ensure an elevated guest experience, a reduced number of VIP and Main Event tickets will be available, allowing for greater access to chefs, beverage stations, and venue amenities. With added shade structures and seating, guests can relax and enjoy the late spring festivities in greater comfort.
“Thanks to an incredible line-up of talent and the many improvements we’ve made, this year’s Brewery & the Beast Vancouver is going to be the most memorable yet,” said Scott Gurney, Director of 17 Black Events, which produces the beloved annual event in Vancouver, as well as Victoria and Calgary. “Each presenting chef brings something special to the table. It's a reminder of the vibrant spirit of innovation and collaboration that defines Vancouver's food scene, and we're honoured to be a part of it."
In addition to the culinary delights, Brewery & the Beast Vancouver will feature a vibrant entertainment program, including live music from bands and DJs, and engaging on-site activations like the return of the “Mind the Bar Dunk Tank”, and the Chef’s Table Society’s 50/50 raffle.
In response to the growing demand for group experiences, Brewery & the Beast Vancouver is also excited to offer VIP group ticket packages, making it the ideal destination for corporate gatherings, team celebrations, and staff parties. With VIP tickets already 85 percent sold out and general admission selling quickly, attendees are encouraged to secure their tickets early to avoid missing out on the ultimate outdoor celebration of delectable food and drink.
