Now in its second year, The Road to Dublin will bring the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day and warmIrish welcomes to Freehouse Collective in Toronto and Vancouver at special “The Barrelman'' Jameson Distillery Bar Popups. Running through March until St. Patrick’s Day, the popups will offer special food and drink menus and décor, live music, tastings and cocktail-making seminars, and the chance to win a trip to Ireland.
The Barrelman will take over Vancouver’s The Ballyhoo and Toronto’s Beerhall at Walrus from March 1st to 17th, transporting guests to the legendary Jameson Distillery Bow Street, where John Jameson launched the iconic whiskey in 1780. To this day, it’s still the beating heart of Jameson’s culture, offering one of the world’s leading distillery tours including cocktail-making classes, premium whiskey tastings, and whiskey blending sessions.
Specially curated menus at Freehouse Collective offer delicious options to fuel up for the celebrations and get into the spirit of slàinte including inspired twists on the classics like a Jameson Mule and Bow St. Boulevardier, alongside comforting bites like Mini Jambons, Lamb Sliders, and Corned Beef & Cabbage.
From March 1st to March 17th, scratch cards will be given away with every purchase of a Jameson drink, Guinness, or special food item at all Vancouver and Toronto locations with instant prizes including food, drink, and gift cards. Even better, Freehouse Collective and Jameson Distilling will send one lucky person and their guest to Dublin to enjoy the memorable Bow Street Distillery experience in person. The grand prize includes a trip for two to Dublin and a VIP Jameson experience with two nights’ accommodation in the city to enjoy Temple Bar, the River Liffey, and all the famous sights along the way.
