Visit Blasted Church at Vancouver International Wine Festival

The Road to Dublin returns to Freehouse Collective for a second brilliant year

When Blasted Church Vineyards first burst onto the Canadian wine scene in 2002, the BC winery instantly turned heads with the colourful and irreverent labels that adorned its bottles.

For those attending the 44th annual Vancouver International Wine Festival, we invite you to stop by and see the Blasted Church Vineyards team for a memorable tasting experience. They will be at the International Festival Tastings for the trade and for the public on February 29, March 1, and March 2 (some tickets remain at vanwinefest.ca)

When Blasted Church Vineyards first burst onto the Canadian wine scene in 2002, the BC winery instantly turned heads with the colourful and irreverent labels that adorned its bottles.

Now, in 2024 "Blasted Church continues to evolve and respond to the modern wine drinker,” says Anthony Gismondi, Vancouver Sun.

He also wrote “Under winemaker Evan Saunders, who joined Blasted Church in 2014 and worked his way up from cellar hand to chief winemaker, his wines are now more serious than the labels.”

Come visit the team to taste and discover Blasted Church’s exquisite selection of wines including:

·     2018 OMG Sparkling Wine

·     2021 Cabernet Franc

·     2022 Big Bang Theory

·     2022 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

·     2022 Viognier

You can talk wine with the talented individuals behind Blasted Church who will be at the event:

·     Evan Saunders, winemaker

·     Dave Courtemanche , assistant winemaker

·     Jamie MacNeill, cellarmaster

·     Tanya Martin, general manager

The team is looking forward to sharing their wines and stories with you. See you there!
