Wildlight Kitchen + Bar Fires Up The Grill For An Exciting New Summer BBQ Dinner Series

 Award-winning restaurant’s outdoor long table feasts put creativity and community on the menu

Time to fire up the grill and get a little “West Coast Wild” as Wildlight Kitchen + Bar launches their all-new Summer BBQ Series, which gives the restaurant’s award-winning chef, Warren Chow, a chance to show off his grilling skills. The series kicks off on July 14, with three themed BBQ dinner feasts that will turn summer nights into celebrations of flavour.

The trio of long-table dinners offer a fresh way to taste the inspired and creative cuisine that earned Wildlight a 2023 MICHELIN Guide Recommendation and Chef Chow its inaugural Young Chef award. Each with a distinct culinary theme, these Sunday al fresco dinners will feature exclusive dishes grilled up in front of guests and served family-style.:
 

  • July 14, 2024 - 5 p.m.: Brazilian BBQ Night - featuring grilled bison picanha and linguiça sausage, Brazilian cheese bread, cassava fries, tres leches cake and more!

  • July 28, 2024 - 5 p.m.: Korean BBQ Night - featuring Galbi short rib, Pork Jowl (Dwaeji Bulgogi), seafood pancake (Haemuljeon), all the pickled veg, and much more!

  • August 11, 2024 - 5 p.m.: Southern BBQ Night - featuring smoked brisket, baby back ribs, grilled kielbasa sausage, jalapeno hush puppies, bacon bourbon baked beans, and even more!

The dinners will take place in the restaurant's open-air atrium, overlooking the leləm̓ plaza. This unique space provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of exceptional food and community guided by Chef Chow and Wildlight’s top-notch hospitality.
 
“I’m incredibly excited to welcome guests to our new Summer BBQ Series. These dinners are a wonderful opportunity to showcase our culinary creativity in a new and engaging way, and our open-air atrium offers the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable summertime dining experience,” said Chow.
 
Tickets for the Summer BBQ Series are priced at $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and include the full menu and a welcome cocktail. With limited seats available for these family-style gatherings, guests are encouraged to book quickly before the seats sell out.
